The European Master in Gerontology is a comprehensive, flexible and modular based international training programme in gerontology. It is a two-year part-time programme of 90 ECTS (credit points) and allows students to study and travel in some of the key gerontological institutions across the continent.

The First Year consists of four core modules and an integrative module at the end of the year: the EuMaG Summerschool. Every core module has an introductory residential course week in a different European country. After the course week participants return to their own countries and complete the module via distance-learning assignments.
The Second Year allows for more in-depth study. By chosing elective modules, the EuMaG student can specialize in a certain direction. The second year is concluded by writing a Master Dissertation.
It is possible to enroll for the full Master's programme, or for separate modules that connect best with participants' profession or special interest. EuMaG modules may also be taken as part of a continuous training programme.
