EuMaG also welcomes participants who are registered as regular students. The programme is an excellent possibility to expand and deepen your academic career. Students are eligible for reduced tuition fees (see below). When registering as a student, proof of active enrolment at the home university must be submitted with the application. Deadline for application for full Masters programme: August 1st 2009; (Applicants are requested to subscribe as early as possible (preferably before July 1st 2009) due to logistic arrangements for the Introduction Module in Amsterdam)
FINANCES It is possible to enrol in the complete EuMaG Masters programme, as well as for its separate modules. Tuition fees are excluding expenses for travel and accommodation. EuMaG full programme € 1200 for 2 years Single modules € 150 per module
The fee for the full 2-year programme may be paid in two yearly instalments of € 650. Please note: Fees only apply for regular students. PhD-students should register as Professionals .
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Educational requirements - Candidates must at least have a university Bachelors degree or equivalent in social or health sciences.
- Candidates with a Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field have the opportunity to follow an
adjusted shorter programme. The EuMaG Administrative Centre can be contacted for more details.
Language requirements - Participants should have a good understanding of the English language, in order to actively participate in the lectures and discussions. Applicants need to document their proficiency in English, for example by supplying documentation that they have achieved a satisfactory score in a recognized test, preferably the IELTS test (given by the British International English Language Testing Service ; minimum score 6.5), or the TOEFL (the American test of English as a Foreign Language );
minimum score 580 paper test, or 237 computer test, or 92-93 internetbased test). - Language requirements do not apply for English native speakers and for those who have followed their previous education in an English-speaking college or university. When in doubt, contact the EuMaG Administrative Centre for information.
Recommended competences - A reasonable understanding of statistical analysis is required. As an indication, participants should be able to understand Chapters 1-4 of the textbook Statistics by William L. Hays.
REGISTRATION Registration is required for participation in the full programme, as well as for individual modules.
N.B.: Your application must contain the following documents: - a completed application form - a certified (Bachelor's) degree (and a certified translation in English) - a certificate to verify your proficiency in English (see above for requirements) - a motivation letter explaining your reason for application to this programme - a detailed Curriculum vitae (or Résumé) in English - Photocopy of the page(s) of your passport with name, date and place of birth, and expiry date of the passport - 3 passport photographs - proof of active enrolment as a student at your home university
